The Zoological Society of Florida (ZSF) depends on annual gifts of every amount to fund its education and outreach programs, docent program, Mercantil Commercebank Children's Zoo, summer and spring camps and general operations. As with all gifts, your annual fund gift may be given by cash, check or credit card. Your generosity truly makes a difference.

Adopt-An-Animal
You probably have a favorite Metrozoo animal, a hairy, furry or feathered friend who makes your visits to the zoo special. So why not adopt it? When you become an annual sponsor your tax-deductible donation is used for programs that support Metrozoo.
Exhibit Sponsorship
Ideal for corporations, ZSF's exhibit sponsorship program demonstrates your company's commitment to helping conserve the world's wildlife for future generations, while aligning your brand with Miami's favorite venue for community education and recreation. Your exclusive on-exhibit signage will be working to increase your exposure 365 days a year.
Event Sponsorship
Events such as Ball of the Wild and Feast with the Beasts cater to an upscale audience.
Sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $2,500 for Feast with the Beasts. We have many other levels, as well as customized sponsorship packages based on your marketing needs. Other events with sponsorship opportunities include Monster Masquerade, our adults only dance party, with open bars and costume contest, as well as Winter Gone Wild, our holiday fundraiser. These events are a great way to impress clients or reward your employees! Companies catering to families may be interested in becoming a sponsor of our family events Egg Safari and MetroBoo. These weekend events over Easter and Halloween attract more than 30,000 people each year.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
Many people wish to make a gift in memory of a friend or relative who has passed away. The Zoo has many ways to help you memorialize loved ones. A leaf on the
Tree of Giving in the American Banker's Aviary or a bench plaque are unique ways to accomplish this. You may also consider a donation honoring a person or achievement. Some people prefer to give a charitable gift, in honor of someone's birthday, anniversary or graduation, in lieu of a gift to the honoree. We will notify the individual(s) you recognized that you have made a gift in honor of their special occasion or achievement.
Matching Gift
If you make a contribution to the Zoological Society of Florida your company may match your gift with a donation of equal size. Please check with your company to see if you have a matching gift program. It's a great way to double your contribution!
Planned Giving
Leave a legacy! Planned gifts help the Zoological Society plan for the future. Planned gifts include life income gifts such as annuities or trusts as well as bequests in your estate. In many cases, you may be able to leave a larger gift than you thought possible while still providing for the needs of your heirs.
